First baseman John Mabry hit a homerun and had 3 RBI at Pro Player Stadium as
the Dyersville Jurassics beat the Burbank Tigers 10 to 5.
Jason Schmidt(7-3) had a fairly solid outing. He went 7 innings surrendering
9 hits and 5 walks. Schmidt chalked up 9 strikeouts and surrendered 2
homeruns. Overall Dyersville out-hit Burbank 16 to 11.
Barry Zito(4-6) ended up with the loss. He was not very effective,
surrendering 9 runs in 5 and 1/3 innings. Dyersville continued their
winnings ways improving their record to 28-37. They are 8-2 in their last
ten games. Burbank can't seem to snap out of their recent 'funk'. Now they
have a miserable 2-8 record over the last couple weeks.
